For almost fifty years, Burma (Myanmar) has been under the rule of a harsh military regime whose main priority seems to be to stay in power. At the officers’ academy in the northern hill town of Pyin U Lwin, the military grooms the next generation of leaders to become “The Triumphant Elite of the Future” as a massive English sign in front of the DSA campus proclaims.
