"Voice for Change"
'Today you get a lot of rhetoric out of both the
black and white churches about what should be, but no one is willing to get
out there and suffer a little pain. People have gotten fat on the ideas like,
'I want to get myself a new BMW' and all that foolishness. Do you know how
many changes we could make in this community if we just came together?
Democracy,' said Earnest J. Holman, retired middle school counselor and
teacher. He has been a voice for change, involved in the Flint NAACP and as
chairman of the Million Men in Flint.
