"Things Can Be Tough"
Barb Burdine and Flint Eastside Mission volunteers
listen as a volunteer returns empty-handed on a food run to fill the
mission's pantry after an order was misplaced. 'Things can be tough,' Burdine
said. 'It's just a beautiful ministry. I can't make everything right and help
everybody, but whoever God sends me, I'm going to try.' Burdines' ministry
feeds a about two hundred a day and in addition to the food pantry run a
clothing house and baby mission.
