Election workers and party monitors reviewed and counted ballots late into the evening by battery powered lamps on the day of Haiti's National election at a polling site outside Port au Prince. The elections were marred by disorder at the polls, low voter turnout, violence and vandalism at voting stations and allegations of outright fraud.
