Using a cane to support herself, an elderly injured woman came forward from a crowd gathered outside a large camp for displaced residents of Leogane, Haiti to receive a box of food supplies including rice, vegetables and lard at a distribution run by a local aid group. The group used a lottery system to distribute the supplies to residents of the camp and only a fraction of the people gathered received help.
