"THE CHAIN GANG, POLITICS AND PUNISHMENT"
The prison guards leans on their vehicles while the female inmates clears the weeds. The works continues for four hours before the scorching sun makes it too hot. The inmates are fed simple sandwiches and water when they work on the chain. It´s a welcome change from the “horrible” prison food. According to Sheriff Arpaio the inmates are fed for less than a dollar a day.
