When tigers don’t have enough space, tigers sometimes end up fighting over territory. When a tigress moved into another part of India’s Bandhavgarh National Park with more prey, a fight with another female ensued. The larger female killed and partially ate the smaller tigress. Because tiger parts are so valuable on the black market for the Chinese traditional medicine market, the carcass was checked by vets and then burned.
