Community Rangers patrol an area of jungle where illegal logging is taking place along the border of Ulu Masen Forest Complex in Sumatra. Though they discovered a robust operation, the outfit was deserted when they arrived. The rangers are ex-loggers and ex-poachers who have been hired by the government, trained as elephant mahouts and forest guards.
