"DJ Reading The Police Blotter"
DJ got her home health
aid certificate in lieu of her high school diploma. She had five children in
between a handful of jobs. Two of the kids' fathers were serving time when DJ
gave birth. DJ worked in the housekeeping department of a local hotel, but
her new boyfriend told her to quit and that he would work and let D J stay
home with her children. He didn't last long on the job and soon DJ was
evicted and living in a shelter with her children.
