"The Girls and The Bassinet"
Heather and Sarah, now 19
and 20, were living with Sarah's father since they were 16 when they decided
to have a baby. They asked Heather's teenage cousin to be the father. While
Sarah was pregnant, the three teens were jailed for stealing checks from a
family member. Sarah and the baby's father were released in time for Sarah to
give birth in a hospoital. Heather, who has a long history of group homes,
juvenile detention, and jail had to stay for 8 more months and was released
just before Sarah gave birth. Jessica, Heather's best friend (right) was in
jail with Heather.
