"Rachael's Bouquet"
Rachael, 15 has been on medication
since she was considered a disruption in her first grade class. Rachael's
mother has been a host to a series of social workers and a client of several
outreach program's since that time. Racheal is told repeatedly that if she
doesn't take her medication she will 'flip out'. Rachael has very little
social life but recently she and a boy in her special needs class started
dating. Racheal talks to him over the phone and is occasionally allowed to
walk the several blocks to his house. Rachael says that she will probably
marry her school boyfriend and have children as soon as possible. Racheal
says this as she holds the bouquet from a cousin's wedding.
