"Timothy Unraveled"
SUMMARY - Timothy’s mind is in turmoil. Unraveled by bipolar disorder, he’s gone from having a home and a job to court, rehab, jail and homelessness. Although he constantly seeks peace, he fails to accept help.
Timothy Heckler, 29, walks through a Denver alley while delivering résumés to prospective employers in May. "Sometimes getting dressed up is like, it picks me up. Sometimes it feels like a fake skin... If I'm really down, looking dapper is a façade." Timothy’s reached a turning point, where a lifetime of mental illness and drug abuse seem to suck him under. It's what happens when the mental health system fails, and when someone can't help himself.
