"Timothy Unraveled"
Timothy waits to approach Judge Johnny Barajas during the “Court to Community” program at a Denver courthouse. Last spring, authorities recommended to Timothy that he attend the mental health court – a probation opportunity – after spitting on a light-rail station security guard, which ended in his arrest. Shari Lewinski, the program administrator, said, "It's clear to us that if he doesn't get services, he will be a problem. He's almost homeless, his addiction is ready to spin out of control. If we don't step in, he will tank."
