"Timothy Unraveled"
Sheriff's Deputy Sonya Leyba handcuffs Timothy during the Court to Community program at a Denver courthouse after Judge Johnny Barajas sanctioned Timothy to a night in jail. Judge Barajas heard that Timothy had been kicked out of his group home and that he’d been noncompliant the entire week. As Deputy Leyba prepared to handcuff Timothy, Judge Barajas said, "the thing I want you to think about this evening is that you can talk the talk, but I haven't seen you do the walk. So just think about that and I'll see you tomorrow morning.” A week later, Timothy asked the judge to release him from the program.
