Constable Samuel Enigs young widow Karina follows a major from the royal lifeguard after the burial ceremony. She was handed the Danish flag that covered the coffin along with his medals and his beret. The 23-year-old constable was killed by a roadside bomb January 9 in Helmand in Afghanistan. He leaves behind a wife, father and mother, and four siblings. With the death of Samuel Enig the death toll for Danish soldiers reached 40 in combat operations in Afghanistan.
