Krill are a shrimp-like marine crustacean, and the main food source for humpback whales, seals, and penguins. They migrate vertically in the water column daily, staying deep and out of sight during the day, and ascending towards the surface at night. These krill were captured by marine biologists. I photographed them in an aquarium.
