"The Driest Seasons: California's Dust Bowl"
Fred Lujan, 68, was dreaming of a retirement as a gentleman farmer tending his pistachio trees. He has no water now, due to the drought, to water his orchard. He has received some relief from a pistachio company that has sold him enough water to keep the trees alive. The price however, is very steep. The drought is severely effecting the small Central Valley town of Terra Bella. Residents have no access to ground water nor aqueduct water. The drought could be the final blow for the embattled town.
