It takes a lot of courage and confidence to perform in front of an audience, and in a country were it was illegal to sing, dance, play sports and perform theatre just 12 years ago, the children's performances attract large crowds. Tucked behind his costume 13 year old Wahid sits in the school gymnasium. "What makes me sad is to be poor," Wahid says. "People ignore you, when you are poor - they do not speak to you, and they do not look at you."
