"FUKUSHIMA: TAKING BACK A NUCLEAR NO-MAN'S LAND"
An abandoned house, undamaged by the earthquake, has been overrun by a second summer of weeds in the highly radioactive evacuated mountain village of Tsushima. Decontamination has not even begun here because, according to the Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Ministry, Tsushima will be exposed to annual radiation of more than 50 milli-seiverts (a normal annual dose of radiation from natural sources in 2.4 milli-seiverts).
