Workers in hazmat protective clothing remove radiation contaminated topsoil from rice fields in Iitate-mura attempting to reduce the radioactivity to safe levels. Iitate-mura, Fukushima Prefecture, Japan. The contaminated soil is being buried in shallow pits near by and then covered up.
