Fight in block 3 of Pademba Central Prison , Freetown. Sierra Leone has set the age of criminal responsibility to 10 years. The law says that "no child shall be sentenced to prison" (CAP44 s24). According to the Convention on the Rights of the Child ratified by Sierra Leone in 1990 juveniles till 18 years is considered as a child and can not get into prison.
