Over thirty juveniles are serving sentences under the Central prison. None of them should be here under the Criminal Law of Sierra Leone. They should be in Remand homes or approval school but the law is not enforced. Many of them suffer violence, abuse, physical punishment, sexual explotation, forced prostitution, rackets and gangs.
