An Afghan policeman (ANP) is receiving treatment from a gunshot wound. The field hospital receives patients from the international ISAF-force, the Afghan national army and police-force, a few civilians and also enemy soldiers. They are all recieving the best possible treatment, but the difference is the after care. Where foreign soldiers (ISAF) in general are flown back home for further treatment, the Afghans are transfered to local hospitals of quality so poor that estimated 80-90% of the patients will die from infections.
