"The COIN War"
A group of women in burqa's shop in a market in Kabul. Since the fall of the Taliban in 2001, women have made gains in Afghan society. 30 percent of Afghan girls now have access to schools, a number far greater than during the years of Taliban rule, a gain that is seen as dependent on the success of the war against a Taliban return.
