David Passinault, a physical therapist for the Performance
Centers of St. Francis Hospital, encourages Steven
Lugo to push himself during a therapy session in the Aquaciser, a device that
utilizes water to help build muscle and stability so that the twins might
realize their goal to walk across the stage at Hamilton High to receive their
high school diploma. Steven and his twin brother Jose go for physical therapy
twice weekly, but ironically by becoming stronger physically and then
graduating from high school they will lose their insurance coverage for the
physical therapy sessions.
