Belgian native Maurice Vanneste of Saint Clair Shores, center, is congratulated for being the first Eastside Members Pigeon Racers Club member to have a bird come in during that day's race. After the race totals are added up, this victory could mean thousands of dollars in prize money for Vanneste.
