"Registering the Birds"
Handling one of his pigeons with a lifetime of experience, Leo Wernet of St. Clair Shores registers about 20 birds for a race at the Eastside Members Pigeon Racers Club in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. More than 800 pigeons were registered for this race, which saw entries from three different Detroit-area clubs.
