"Despite similarities to reality"

Soldiers in the tactical operations center watch live footage from aerial targeting assets from a drone of a moving vehicle with mounted large caliber machine gun. Consumed by what is affectionately referred to as ‘kill TV’, they anxiously await the moment that the truck, the presumed insurgent, and the weapon are to be destroyed by a Hellfire Missile, while begrudging the long passage of time for fear that the enemy will get away by driving into a town where the likelihood of collateral damage would be higher. The driver and his passenger managed to exit the vehicle shortly before the armament crashed to the ground reducing the truck to a blinding ball of fire on screen.
