"Hidden Wounds (Scars from Waziristan)"

Islamabad, Pakistan, Nov 2013: Mohammad Kasim, 18 years old, from Hisoori village, North Waziristan Agency. At his birth he was gifted to his Uncle as he could not have kids and he grew up considering him as his father. On March 20th 2011 his uncle, a local shop keeper was martired in a Drone attack. One week before he was killed, Mohammad left his studies to joined him at work in his shop. The day of the strike Mohammad was in Bannu and he came to know about his Uncle death only the day after and he saw the site of the attack two days after it occurred. He was forbidden by his relatives to see his uncle dead body as is could be too painful. He is now back with his untee to his original father home, and joined again with his 4 brothers. He deeply want peace to be brought back to his area. Before drones started to strike, his land was very peacefull. Now people gets mad when they hear the noise coming from the unmanned aircrafts and even children started to be mentally treated. Now people is stopped in their basic activities. Jirga, funerals as any other kind of public gatherings became very dangerous since the beginning of the attacks. He suffered for about long time of eye desease apparently caused by the ashes coming from the rubble caused by the attack.
