"Hidden Wounds (Scars from Waziristan)"
Pakistan, Islamabad, Oct 2013: Karim Khan, 55 years old, from Tahir village, Doga, North Waziristan. He has 4 sons and 4 daughters. in June 2009, two drone attacks took place the same day. His son Sham Sullah was moving on a bike with one of his friends when at 12:00 pm a drone strike hit them. He was 30 years old, married and father of two sons. A Pashtun speaking radio broadcasted that 4 foreigners were killed in the attack. His son was the only with a job in their family. Karim Khan never witnessed any militant activity and never received threats by them.
He condemn drones strikes and he feel mad any time he notice their noise coming from the sky. He feel powerless and he does feel betrayed by his own government while accepting these bombardments on his land. Cannot figure out how these strikes could continue to be carried on innocent people.
