Farmers taking a break and playing Soccer. Farmers all along the Luangwa Valley in Zambia work together with COMACO to grow crops that will be processed into organic products like Peanut Butter and Cereal. Previously many of these farmers were poachers who hunted to sustain their families but remained impoverished. Coordinating with COMACO has allowed them to generate a steady income, thereby removing the need for illegal and dangerous poaching. COMACO’s integrated intervention is changing farming life, significantly improving livelihoods and food security, and conserving wildlife across the region.
