Robert Wheeler, a runner in the Boston Marathon took off his shirt and put it around the leg of injured spectator Ron Brassard as his wife Karen, also injured in the legs, looks on. They were standing on the Boylston Street sidewalk near the finish line when they were hit with shrapnel from the first bomb.
