September 2, 2013. Congolese soldiers paraded captured M23 soldiers to the media at a military intelligence detention facility in Goma. The prisoners included this 14-year-old boy who claimed that he and a friend had been tending goats in the Rwandan countryside when they had been abducted at gunpoint and driven through the night to the frontline. He claims that he was forced to fight for M23. The boy was later handed over to the UN.
