Most of the Bulgarian elderlies who are living in the villages have just wooden stoves in their small houses. Due to their very low pension monthly payment they cannot afford themselves to buy any material to warm their homes. Most of them often collect material in the nearest woods to warm their homes during the cold and long winter period. March, 2010.
