The icon of the Holy Mary and Jesus Christ is seen in the hands of grandmother Stoyina. This is the icon which she believes brings her protection and support.The elderly woman had lost her husband some 25 years ago. Her only child Maryana, 36 was born with mental health problem. Grandmother Stoyina was born on 01 August, 1930 in the village of Treklyano, Bulgaria some 100 km from the capital Sofia, where she lives all her life. November, 2010.
