A protester walks over an election poster from the Moldovan Party of Communists among debris from the presidential building that was ransacked by protesters in Chisinau, Moldova on 7 April 2009. Opposition leaders accused the winning communists of rigging the elections on 5 April and demanded a recount. Anti-communist protesters stormed the presidential building and parliament. More than 30 people were injured in the protests. Three protesters died in police custody under mysterious circumstances.
