Over 10000 refugees from Zimbabwe are queuing every Thursday and Friday at the Marabastad Refugee Reception Centre (Ministry of home affairs) in Pretoria to apply for a South African visa. Because of administrative regulations and the huge amount of refugees from Zimbabwe some of these people waiting for months for their visa apply. They live, cook and sleep near the ministry in the open field without any proper facilitation. Some of them earn some money with small jobs, but because they are illegal they get heavy underpaid. Crime rates are high so people never trust each other.
