"Sleeping In" After a long night of drinking with a co-worker
after their shift, driller James Krei of Wyoming sleeps late into the morning
on the floor of the mobile home of his former boss Dennis Brehm. James had to
be at work at 6am but he lucked out because his boss called and said his
shift would start at noon instead. James admitted that he probably would not
have made the start of his shift and would have been laid off. Roughnecks
work long shifts of at least 12 hours a day for two weeks straight with two
weeks off.
