A man spends a moment with his thoughts while placing
his hand on the new levee wall along the Industrial Canal in the Lower Ninth
Ward on the one-year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans Tuesday
morning. This was the site of the levee break which flooded the Lower 9th
Ward and caused the deaths of many.
