Clark Kent, 49, walks through his mother's flood
damaged home on Flood Street in the Lower 9th Ward a few days before the
anniversary of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. Kent lives in the home with
his brother Lonnie Kent, niece Wyquila Kent and brother-in-law Howard Bay
Singleton. The home has no electricity and when it rains the water seeps
into the living quarters. There are three areas of the house where the
family sleeps in the damp environment.
