A mother and baby wait for the Border Patrol in a
wash located nearly 21/2 miles from the Mexican border in Cochise County,
Ariz. The family was traveling across the desert with approximately 20 other
people, all from Puebla, Mexico, when they were stopped by members of the
Civil Homeland Defense. They had one bottle of water for four people.
