"MIDLAND BEACH"
Debbie Piergiovanni hugs George Tormo as he visits her block for the first time since the Hurricane ravaged the Midland Beach neighborhood. Tormo save Piergiovanni and her family after he commandeered a small boat, which he paddled using a shovel, to her block. Jack Paterno, who lived across the street, perished after his home was overwhelmed by water in a very short period of time. A look at the Midland Beach section in Staten Island in the wake of Hurricane Sandy.
