"I came here from the Belize colony. Here everything is more chilled, there aren’t youngs making noise at night, running with the buggy, and shouting and drinking. They listen to music as well. That doesn’t happen here.If they find someone with a music player they’ll burn it. Last year they burned two or three here.I prefer when the colony is poorer. Then life is easier, people work more, and young people as well. There’s no time to waste making noising at night. In Belize, for instance, you find young people in the morning who don’t want to work in the mornings, because they’ve been out the night before.Here everything is better, at night you can’t hear anything."
