Socorro Santiago and her granddaughter Tyra Johnson, 8, hold their shirts over their faces to block the stench of pollution that constantly bombards the residents of Chester, Pennsylvania, while her grandson Anthony Reczeuk, 4, unaffected by the smell, climbs on the side of rocking chair. Santiago has 12 grandchildren that are at her house almost everyday during the summer. They play outside even though the pollution in the region is so bad it can make people physically ill.
