Michelle Razey, still groggy after a night's sleep, takes the hands of her 8-year-old son, Michael Jennings Jr., and prays before he heads off to school. Each day before school, the two say a prayer together. "I wasn't ready to be a mother when I had Michael," she said. "I was more interested in partying, but now it's all changed. My kids are my life, and I'm trying to make it better for them."
