"An Outpouring of Need"
As the growing health care debate embraced the country, thousands of Americans lined up for free dental, medical and vision services in Inglewood, California. Set in an arena, drilling, cleaning and extracting of teeth took place in the open, illustrating the enormous need for medical attention.
People began arriving yesterday afternoon and camped overnight to be sure to receive treatment. RAMusa provides free treatment using local doctors and dentists willing to volunteer their services.
Crowds of people waited overnight to receive free medical and dental treatment at The Forum in Inglewood, California. Before dawn on Tuesday, August 11, 2009, people were asked who held tickets No. 1 through 100. Demand far outpaced capacity in the clinic's first two days.
