James Jones tries to comfort his teary eyed girlfriend Beverly Burns in their van after they ate a free meal at St. Philomena in Sacramento. The homeless couple and their daughter have been living in the van for over a year. With homeless shelters overloaded Jones says they have to live in their vehicle. "If we were alcoholics or drug addicts then there would be a program for us, but with this economy there is nothing," said Jones.
