Humaya’s cemetery monuments are elaborate tombs for the drug traffickers and are constantly being added. New empty expanding graves are set in long rows. Certain tombs contain images of drug traffickers banishing their automatic weapons. From January 1 to mid-July 2008 there have been 535 drug related killings in Sinolao, many of them were police officers.
