During Friday rush hour on main street in Culiacan three people were killed by narco gunmen, one state police commander, a state police officer and a female civilian. Over three hundred rounds on ammunition were fired on the scene. From January 1 to mid-July 2008 there have been 535 drug related killings in Sinolao, many of them were police officers.
