Mariama laughs as her birthday balloon flies away as
she leaves the home of Deannie's friend, Marge who had a 17th birthday party
for her and welcomed the girls to Michigan. It was also Deannie's first
Mother's Day. Mariama Conteh moved to the home of Deannie and Clay Elliott in
Michigan who have assumed legal guardianship of her.
